Atoms and Matter

Eyes of the world close on yet another day,
The ocean sighs relief, lost for words to say.
Wind turns stone to sand, as earth becomes man.
And all that was before will be again once more,
Ever growing, ever changing.
But all that was before will be again once more.

As the day dawns the sun gets out of bed,
Never growing tired of what lays ahead.
While zombies squander the daily gift of life,
Clueless offspring are left to pay the price.
A beautiful cycle drowning in greed.
some take what they want never mind what they need.
As he breathes his last breath, he slips from sight,
But he still remains like stars on a cloudy night.
