As she inhailed another toke on her poorly made roll up, a new thought occured to her. She had been so consumed in boredom, that she had actually managed to waste another day. She had always looked for things to blame, reasons for why she felt unhappy or restless. But since returning from paradise, work had been her latest strife. Indecesion being her greatest flaw, she knew it was only a matter of time before that all too familiar itch came back.
The previous week she had quit her job, unable to face the monotomous routine exsistance that lay before her, she made an agreement with her manager to see the week out until friday. By Wednesday she was gone. Now she had what she had spent so many wasted hours at work dreaming of. Freedom. Unfortunatly for her and for everyone else in the world, she now felt this word was tainted. For here she was a week later penniless and discontented, unable to satisfy her ever growing hunger for a social life. Damn life's cliches, she thought. Who ever said the grass is greener on the other side?
She knew what she had to do, but she wasn't sure she was ready. Her half-hearted attempts to find work just weren't going to cut it, especially as all she had left in her fridge was a near on empty jar of mayonaise and a cucumber that was so far past expiration it looked as if it could use a vigara or two...
